About Me



Karen Hill has worked with RE/MAX First Choice Realty Ltd. for over 25 years, 17 of them as a licensed realtor serving Thunder Bay and the surrounding region.  She loves being part of the different stages of her client's lives, helping them navigate life's changes.  Having grown up on a dairy farm in rural Thunder Bay, Karen will tell you she is a "real" expert in rural properties.  In a "big small town" where everyone knows everyone, Karen loves the camaraderie and communication between her real estate colleagues. In 2022 she expanded her business adding an admin assistant Erin and real estate intern Tori.


Known for her attention to detail and dedication, Karens years of experience have given her a large local network.  This allows Karen to match her clients with a long list of skilled professionals, such as plumbers, lawyers, electricians and home inspectors. Karens management skills ensure that when she is with her clients, she is fully present.


Many of Karen clients are first and second time home buyers. Karen frequently serves relocation clients, such as RCMP, Ontario Power Generation, the Canadian Military and newcomers to Thunder Bay.  Her vast global network of professional realtors ensure that she can help you find the right connection, no matter where you are moving from or to.


Karen Hill is a RE/MAX Hall of Fame member, has achieved the Platinum award and is the past president of the Thunder Bay Real Estate Board 2022.  Karen is also a proud Miracle Agent-donating a portion of each sale to the Children's Miracle Network, supporting local medical services.  She is passionate about family, whether it be her own children, her RE/MAX family, her community or those at the Ontario Real Estate Association, when she volunteers time to helping to create changes that positively impact Ontario homeowners. When Karen is not working, you'll find her playing golf, walking her dogs or volunteering at Shelter House.
